Crown Financial Ministries is a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry whose core values include recognition of God’s ownership of all things, the need to pray about everything, and the desire to equip and serve others with excellence while teaching in ways understood by all cultures and generations.
The mission of Crown is to equip people worldwide to learn, apply, and teach God’s financial principles so they may know Christ more intimately, be free to serve Him, and help fund the Great Commission.
During the summer of 2008, my then fiance and I attended a Crown small group bible study with a number of other couples from our local church. While we were both skeptical about joining, we both decided to attend. Throughout the study, we gained a much greater understanding of what the Lord requires of us and how to handle our money in such a way to please God. The first step of attending this small group study enabled us to get a great jump start and put us on the same page for figuring out the finances for our marriage.
Throughout the next year, I regularly listened to Crown’s Money Life broadcast and continued to learn about God’s way of handling money. By listening to this broadcast, I learned about Crown’s Money Map Coaching ministry and became very interested in becoming a Money Map Coach. In the fall of 2009, I completed my classroom training sessions and became a certified Money Map coach. I am very excited to work with people and help them develop a greater understanding of handling money God’s way. I look forward to help people for years to come.
