Stand Up Economist
Yes, you read the title of this post correctly, Stand Up Economist. When you hear the word economist, comedian is not the next word that usually comes to your mind. In rare cases, these two words do deserve to be in the same sentence. Austan Goolsbee, who is currently a member of the Council of Economic Advisors to the President and on the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, may just be one of those rare economists who fit this bill.
